The Blues are looking for a young fan to run out with the team in Bordeaux before their knock-out clash.

YESTERDAY, WE BROUGHT you a novel way to get into the Stade Chaban-Delmas for Leinster’s Heineken Cup semi-final against Clermont Auvergne.

Today, we’re at it again.

Leinster Rugby is looking for a young rugby supporter to act as the team’s mascot before their knock-out encounter in France.

The website www.bluemagic.ie is offering children between eight and 12-years-old the chance to answer a question on Leinster and post a message of support. The posting reads:

Take you and your family’s support as Leinster fans one step further and enter your young rugby fan into this competition to become a Leinster team mascot. Watch them run onto the Stade Chaban Delmas, Bordeaux pitch with the team and become a part of Leinster’s Blue Magic.

The final date for entry is next Wednesday, April 25, and the winner will also receive a full Leinster kit.

Put words in the Lion’s mouth

Another competition on Leinster’s Blue Magic supporters’ website is offering two tickets and a same-day flight to Bordeaux.

The prize will go to the person who comes up with the best speech bubble phrase for official mascot ‘Leo’ as he mows the grass at the RDS.

The Score’s tip is “Mow money mow problems.”
