The Marty Squad tried the hurling crossbar challenge and the main man nailed it

Marty has mad skills.

THE MARTY SQUAD were down in the sunny south-east recently, paying a visit to Passage East GAA club in Waterford.

One of the tasks they set themselves was to have a crack at the hurling crossbar challenge, and the results were mixed.

Several big names of Waterford hurling turned out to try their hand at it, including current Waterford panel members Noel and Thomas Connors – the latter of which nailed it – and Pa Walsh, who was trying to replicate his sensational effort when Waterford filmed their video during the summer.

Former Waterford stars Eoin Kelly and Paul Flynn also turned out to have a go, but neither were any match for the main man himself, as Marty Morrissey drilled his shot off the woodwork, sparking delirious scenes.

Take a bow Marty. Take a bow.
