THE IRELAND MANAGEMENT team continues to run the rule over its squad and potential new additions this afternoon, the FAI has confirmed.
Manager Martin O’Neill travels to the Amex as Brighton Hove & Albion take on Birmingham City in the Championship. As well as Seagulls pair Stephen Ward and Keith Andrews, O’Neill will undoubtedly keep a close eye on Blues goalkeeper Darren Randolph — who has been in excellent form this season.
With Keiren Westwood ruled out for the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury, Randolph could be given a chance when Ireland meet Serbia on 5 March, although Millwall’s David Forde is still favourite to start between the posts at this moment.
For assistant boss Roy Keane, meanwhile, a trip to Goodison Park beckons. High-flying Everton host Norwich at 3pm and in-form pair Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy should retain their places in the starting XI.
