Limerick sign up Martin O'Neill for club fundraiser

The Ireland boss will be in the Treaty City on 20 February.

REPUBLIC OF IRELAND manager Martin O’Neill will speak at a fundraising evening in aid of Limerick FC next month.

‘An Audience with Martin O’Neill’ takes place on 20 February, the same day that the Ireland boss names his squad for the March friendly against Serbia.

O’Neill has continued to support the domestic game since his appointment and promised to keep an open mind when scouting players from the Airtricity League.

Yesterday he helped launch a new partnership between Dundalk and the Dundalk Institute of Technology.

Limerick said: “The club wish to thank Football Association of Ireland CEO John Delaney, Martin O’Neill and all the staff at the FAI for agreeing to support what is an important fundraiser for the club.”

Further details on the fundraising event are to be confirmed.
