Mario Balotelli's pig barred from entering Britain

The Italy international must register himself as a breeder and provide a certificate of health.

MARIO BALOTELLI’S PET pig Super has not been allowed into Britain following his move to Liverpool due to regulations over the importing of animals.

Government rules state the Italy international must register himself as a breeder and produce a certificate of health from a vet before Super is allowed to enter the country.

Balotelli bought the pig in August 2013 when he was still at AC Milan, announcing the purchase on his Twitter account

Balotelli has endured a frustrating start to his Anfield career, scoring just once for Brendan Rodgers’ side, against Ludogorets in the Champions League.

He was dropped for Liverpool’s last game, a 2-1 win over West Brom at home, and has been left out of the Italy squad since Antonio Conte took charge this summer.
