BOLTON WANDERERS HAVE announced the arrival of Ireland international Marc Wilson on a one-year deal.
The Antrim-born defender, capped 25 times for the Boys in Green, joins the Championship club after his release by relegated Sunderland at the end of last season.
It has been a disappointing few years for Wilson, 30, who played little football at Bournemouth after his move from Stoke City in 2016.

He spent a loan spell at West Brom in the second half of 2017, before signing for the Black Cats, where he made 22 appearances last term.
Injuries have severely hampered his career at club and international level in recent years, but Wilson is excited by the prospect of a fresh start with the Trotters.
“It’s good to be here,” Wilson said. “I spoke to the manager a while back and he was really positive about it.
“I think for me personally it is a good chance to get playing football again and hopefully help the club to do well.”

Wanderers manager Phil Parkinson added: “We’re pleased with the signing of Marc. He’s a player who’s played at the top level in English football and also on the international stage.
“He can play across the back four as well as holding midfield and is a great addition to our squad.”
