Maradona has a message for Argentina FA president Julio Grondona

Diego hit back after his former employer referred to him as ‘Argentina’s bad-luck charm’.

DIEGO MARADONA MISSED Lionel Messi’s last-gasp winner for Argentina against Iran at Belo Horizonte’s Mineirao Stadium on Saturday, having left early.

According to reports, the president of the country’s football association, Julio Grondona, had some fun with the story and later quipped to reporters that “the bad luck charm left and we won”.

So, when Maradona was asked for a response to Grondona’s comments during an appearance for a Venezuelan TV station, he didn’t let us down.

Staring straight at the camera, Maradona sent a powerful message to Grondona in the form of a raised middle finger.

He told the host of the show:

“I want to say to Grondona that what I have done was through work. What he has done was done from buying it from FIFA”.
