MANCHESTER UNITED MADE the switch from the Nike’s swoosh to the three stripes of Adidas in a record-breaking deal £750 million (€942 million) over the summer.
The German company produced a number of classic shirts during their first spell manufacturing the club’s kits for most of the 80s and the early 90s — until a move to Umbro before the first ever Premier League season.
As a nod to those days, Adidas Originals have just released a new range of retro jerseys and training gear that we think you will agree is not bad at all.
