LUIS SUAREZ IS in line to make his return from a 10-match ban in Liverpool’s League Cup third round tie at arch-rivals rivals Manchester United following tonight’s draw.
The 26-year-old has been pressing for a move away from Anfield, with Arsenal interested in signing the Uruguay forward.
But should the striker remain at Anfield, his first match back after biting Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic last season will be at Old Trafford against United.
Third round draw: Man Utd v Liverpool, Sunderland v Peterborough, West Ham v Cardiff, Man City v Wigan, Burnley v Nottingham Forest, Newcastle v Leeds, Southampton v Bristol City, West Brom v Arsenal, Swindon v Chelsea, Tranmere v Stoke, Watford v Norwich, Aston Villa v Tottenham, Hull v Huddersfield, Leicester v Derby, Birmingham v Swansea, Fulham v Everton.
