BACK IN 2004, Manchester United were looking to make it back-to-back Premier League titles but faced stiff competition from Arsenal and Chelsea.

On April 13th, they hosted Leicester at Old Trafford and it took Gary Neville’s first top-flight goal in three years to secure the three points. United were without Roy Keane and Ruud van Nistelrooy but their starting XI featured a number of much-maligned players.

The highlights are well worth a watch. In a rather action-packed 70 seconds, we see some dodgy goalkeeping from Roy Carroll, some generally dodgy defending from United, a young Ronaldo providing some dazzling footwork and a superb pass from Gary Neville that eventually leads to his goal.

Here’s hoping for more of this kind of entertainment later today!
