MANCHESTER CITY BLEW a 2-0 half-time lead against CSKA Moscow in this evening’s early Champions League kick-off.

Fresh from scoring four goals against Spurs over the weekend, Sergio Aguero had the easiest of tap-ins after a pass from Edin Dzeko on 29 minutes.

The striker then turned provider for James Milner eight minutes before the break.

Despite the game being played behind closed door because of CSKA’s three-match stadium ban, Sky Sports commentator Niall Quinn observed how City had “silenced the home crowd”.
