Man United make 'Flacao' jersey gaffe, reject claims the star is lying about his age

There are rumours that the club’s new signing is 30 rather than 28.

MAN UNITED REPRESENTATIVES were left red-faced recently after the club’s online shop started selling jerseys with the name ‘Flacao’ on the back (see above).

Not much seems to be going right at Old Trafford currently, and this latest mishap adds insult to injury.

Meanwhile, Man United have been forced to deny rumours that their new Colombian signing is 30 rather than 28.

There have been persistent suggestions in recent years that Falcao is two years older than he claims, but a United spokesperson has dismissed these stories, saying: “We were aware of the rumours at the time and it was never an issue.”
