POLL: Who was your man of the match from today’s Mayo v Cork All-Ireland SFC quarter-final

We want to hear who you think stood out today.

IT MAY HAVE ended in controversial circumstances but Mayo and Cork served up an exciting quarter-final today with the Connacht champions eventually booking a semi-final spot with Kerry by the narrowest of margins.

For Mayo, Aidan O’Shea provided a timely goal while Cillian O’Connor (0-5) and Alan Dillon (0-4) scored at pivotal moments to help send the westerners into the final four.

Brian Hurley (1-4) top-scored for Cork with his late goal keeping his side in the game when their heads may well have dropped after O’Shea’s maximum down the other end moments earlier.

Donncha O’Connor’s 1-3 cameo cannot be overlooked and neither can the performance of James Loughrey at the back for the Rebels.
