A MAN HAS died after competing in yesterday’s London Marathon.
The 42-year-old was treated by medical staff after collapsing at the finish line, then rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
“The organisers of the Virgin Money London Marathon would like to express their sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” reads a short statement released by organisers.

The race was won by Kenya’s Wilson Kipsang, who set a new record for the course with a time of two hours, four minutes and 27 seconds.
