Fierce rivals Spike O’Sullivan and Anthony Fitzgerald will also meet on a packed undercard with promoter Eddie Hearn set to confirm full details at a press conference next Tuesday.
Macklin, 32, was slated to meet Argentina’s Heiland in the much smaller National Stadium in August, with the winner moving one step closer to a showdown with WBC champ Miguel Cotto.
That fight was postponed when Macklin’s trainer, Jamie Moore, was attacked and shot in Marbella.
Macklin kept warm with an eight-round decision in Germany last month, and now the fight against Heiland has been refixed.
Tickets go on sale next Monday, 13 October. The card will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
