Lyon announce that they will let Lloris leave this summer

The Ligue 1 club are preparing for bids from Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham for the French goalkeeper.

LYON PRESIDENT JEAN-MICHEL AULAS has revealed that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris will be allowed to leave the club this summer, for the right price.

The French international has been strongly rumoured with a move to the Premier League this summer and Arsenal are one of the leading names linked with the 25-year-old.

Reports also emerged on Sunday that Pepe Reina could leave Liverpool after seven years at Anfield, and that Brendan Rodgers could look to lure Lloris to Merseyside, while Tottenham’s Brad Friedel is in his 40s and surely coming to the end of his career.

Aulas insists it will have to be a big offer to persuade Lyon to sell the custodian.

“Lloris can go, but only for a decent price in relation to the market,” he told TF1.
