An exciting Irish boxing prospect will compete in the next Prizefighter

Luke Keeler confirmed for Sky Sports tournament on 14 February.

UNDEFATED DUBLINER LUKE Keeler will put his perfect pro record on the line in the next Prizefighter tournament.

The Crumlin middleweight takes part in the eight-man tournament at the Winter Gardens, Blackpool on Saturday 14 February.

“Delighted to be included and promise to put on a show,” Keeler told promoter Eddie Hearn following Tuesday’s announcement.

“Cool Hand” Luke moved to 7-0 with a first-round stoppage against Gary Boulden on the Matthew Macklin-Jorge Sebastian Heiland undercard in Dublin’s 3Arena in November.

The 27-year-old is hoping to add his name to the Irish winners of Prizefighter, which sees eight boxers compete in three-round tournament-style fights.

Martin Rogan, Willie “Big Bang” Casey, Eamon O’Kane and Jono Carroll have all won previous editions of the competition which started in 2008.

Jack Arnfield (17-0), Tom Doran, Mick Hall, Craig Cunningham (all 11-0), Liam Conroy (7-2), Cello Renda (25-10-2) and Warren Tansey (10-1) have also been confirmed for the middleweight tournament which will be shown live on Sky Sports.
