LUIS SUAREZ WAS interviewed by Liverpool’s in-house television station, yesterday, after signing a deal to keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2018.
The Uruguayan signed on the dotted line with the Reds in a deal that will reportedly earn him in the region of £200,000 per week. The new contract included a two-year extension and the wage bump.
Suarez said, “I signed the extension because I would like to stay here, not only for the two and a half more years but for a long time, I think, I stay here.”
The in-form striker believes Champions League qualification, which he says is his dream, is realistic. “If we stay in this level,” he added, “we try, not champions but we can fight with another team until a conclusion [to the season].”
