Louis van Gaal will be named Man Utd manager next week - reports

The Holland boss will take over after the World Cup.

OLD TRAFFORD CHIEFS will appoint Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal as David Moyes’ successor in the coming days, according to reports in the British press.

The Daily Mail‘s Ian Ladyman writes that the favourite for the job will be announced as the next Man Utd manager after the club’s game with Hull City.

The 62-year-old will take over after Holland’s World Cup campaign.

It is not yet know what role interim boss Ryan Giggs and the so-called Class of 92 group who — Nicky Butt, Paul Scholes and  Phil Neville — will take in the new regime.
