Glazers meet with Louis van Gaal as Moyes' future uncertain - reports

The meeting took place this week, according to Dutch media.

MANCHESTER UNITED EXECUTIVES are making contingency plans as manager David Moyes fights for his survival at the club, according to reports in the Dutch media.

United representatives — including one of the Glazers — met with Netherlands coach Louis van Gaal this week to sound him out on the prospect of taking over at Old Trafford after the World Cup.

The Mirror reports that the vastly experienced Dutch manager is interested in the prospect of rebuilding the struggling Premier League champions. He has expressed an interest publicly this year in managing in the Premier League with Spurs previously considered his most likely destination.

The Glazers are said to be willing to give their manager a £200million war chest for the upcoming transfer window but David Moyes is now facing five games to show that he’s the man to spend it.
