Louis van Gaal keeps calling Chris Smalling 'Mike'

The defender has been one of the Red Devils’ standout players this season.

CHRIS SMALLING HAS been arguably Man United’s best player this season, but Louis van Gaal still can’t get his name right.

In an interview with BT Sport, the defender joked about the Dutch coach’s tendency to mistakenly call him “Mike”.

Van Gaal is by no means the only manager prone to this type of faux pas — Jack Charlton famously used to call ex-Ireland striker Niall Quinn ‘Arsenal,’ after the club he played for at the time.

Look for Thunder to play Kiwi rookie Stephen Adams many more minutes and be competitive next time…

As much as I would love to see the thunder win the series, methinks the spurs have way too much on the bench. Pops a top top coach and with the heat missing something(maybe the hunger for a third consecitive title)i think the spurs are the team to beat. I agree adams will offer a bit but is inexperienced at this level, that said definitely has a future in nba.
