Goals from David O’Sullivan, Ayman Ben Mohamed and Lorcan Shannon set up a 3-1 win for Longford against Sheriff YC at the City Calling Stadium, as Joseph Flood’s equaliser on the stroke of half-time proved immaterial, while Darren O’Brien was sent off in injury time.

There was success also for Bray, as they beat Killester United 2-0 at the Carlisle Grounds, after goals from Hugh Douglas and David Scully ensured their side’s passage into the final four.
Cork and Derry will meet again following a 1-1 draw, meanwhile, after Mark O’Sullivan’s goal just after half-time cancelled out Ryan McBride’s early opener.
