Luke Gaule, Barry Kiely, Mark O’Dwyer and Nollag Brophy play their hurling with Kilburn Gaels in the English capital, and they helped the club to win their second London Senior Hurling Championship last August.
The Kilburn quartet share a house with Alan Cuddihy and Damien Brown. Despite being based in London, the pair have continued to travel back to Ireland to represent their home clubs.
Cuddihy was a member of the Ballyhale Shamrocks side that captured their 15th Kilkenny title in 2014, while Brown was part of the Cratloe team that won the top prize in Clare for the second time.
Cuddihy and Ballyhale will take on Kilmallock in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Club Championship final at Croke Park on St Patrick’s Day, while the Kilburn lads will be at GAA HQ this Sunday to face O’Donovan Rossa in the Intermediate decider.
