AIRTRICITY LEAGUE CHAMPIONS St Patrick’s Athletic have six representatives on the PFAI Premier Division Team of the Year for 2013.
Goalkeeper Brendan Clarke, defensive trio Ger O’Brien, Kenny Browne and Ian Bermingham, and Killian Brennan and Greg Bolger have all been included after helping Pat’s to their first league title in more than a decade.
Dundalk have three players — Andy Boyle, Richie Towell and Pat Hoban — while Derry City and Cork City have a representative each in Rory Patterson and Daryl Horgan.
Brennan, Bolger, Towell and Hoban make up the four-man shortlist for Player of the Year while the Lilywhites duo are also in the running for Young Player of the Year along with Horgan.

They need to teach proper tackling technique in the NFL… too many players feel invincible with the pads and just fling themselves into eachother like missiles
Apparently the Seahawks work with an ex rugby union coach and this is why their tackling is so good and leads to less injuries, they tackle with their arms and shoulders rather than their heads like most teams.
