So how many people paid how much to watch a team of “who is that”s? Waste of money. #CONNED

If they were silly enough to think saurez, gerrard and co would be playing then they deserve to waste their money.

True, but no Skrtel, Agger or Coutinho?

Not like they are going to the world cup…

They’re probably carrying “knocks” from a long season!
I don’t blame them! They are over for a session.

I went to support Liverpool. As over 42,500 did also. Regardless of who was playing. I thought it was fantastic especially since I follow the young Reds every season as well as the senior team. Hardly a waste of money. And when my 9 year old son had such a fantastic day, money doesn’t come into it. And that’s what it’s all about.

Glad you enjoyed it, 9 year old must have loved it. I wasn’t just hating on pool fans, only saying if you thought the big names would be out there, well I’ve already said it.

To be honest, I never really thought that the bigger names would play. Not 3 days after the end of the season. And the young lads played well, as they have done all season too. So people who are giving out about paying money to watch youngsters and reserves just think to yourselves, that in a couple of years, you could be saying I saw that player in a meaningless match at the Aviva and now he is a superstar :)

Everyone knew they wouldn’t be there. Day fixture was announced it was announced that no World Cup players would be there. Just shoes the loyalty pool fans have with that many turning up for what was a second string team.

Don’t get why Rodgers brings over Skrtel, Agger and Coutinho and then doesn’t play them

I knew this would happen. I can understand the players that are going to the world cup were never coming but the other household names that Liverpool Fc put on there website this morning that were coming have seemed to just disappeared off the face of the planet in the last few hours. Liverpool Fc have let themselves down today. I hope rovers go on and hammer them.

Yes I know mate but this morning Liverpool Fc had agger and couthino and other players plastered all over there website and there not even subs and this was just to boost ticket sales. They have just conned so many people and its a let down on lfcs behalf. I’m a rovers fan and season ticket holder and I wasn’t letting Liverpool Fc con me.

Yea agree that when they were there they should of played them for at least a half. Used to travel over a good few times every season but cos of personal situation the last 2 years can’t afford it so would of loved to have seen Countinho. Jordon Ibe was god though.
