THE SAGA CONTINUES. It is reported this morning that (current) Liverpool co-owner Tom Hicks has withdrawn the temporary restraining order granted by a court in Texas that blocks the sale of Liverpool FC. Rather than being a concession, however, it is understood that Hicks is in talks with offload his shares to Mill Financial – the company that has already assumed control of the other half of the club. It seems it’s now a race between NESV and Mill to see who can repay RBS’s loan, which expires today, and grab control. More later. Inevitably.
