AFTER 16 YEARS in the Liverpool first team, Jamie Carragher hung up his boots this afternoon after a 1-0 win over QPR.
The 35-year-old was given a guard of honour as he walked out onto the Anfield pitch with his two children and was greeted by an enormous mosaic in The Kop, which spelled out “JC23″ – his initials and shirt number.
