LIVERPOOL HAVE LAUNCHED a campaign asking fans to cut the cursing in one of their most recognisable terrace chants.

They have even called in Bart Simpson to help.

Reds captain Steven Gerrard is hailed by the Kop faithful because, among other things, “he’s big and he’s fucking hard.”

A picture posted to the club’s official Instagram account this morning shows Simpson filling out the lines “I will not swear when I sing the Stevie G song”, suggesting that fans sing “… and he’s very hard” instead.

Something tells us they might be on to a loser here.
