Liverpool fans think Neville is a better pundit than Carragher

Meanwhile, 31% of Man United fans named Luis Suarez as their Premier League player of 2014.

AS A PLAYER, Gary Neville had a famously hostile relationship with Liverpool fans, however time heals all wounds it seems.

In a recent poll conducted by Carlsberg ranking football’s top TV pundits, Neville attracted 11% of Liverpool fans’ vote — 1% more than club legend and fellow Sky analyst Jamie Carragher.

However, neither Neville nor Carragher are as popular as Jeff Stelling, who came top in the poll with 24% of the vote.

Man United fans were similarly generous in a separate poll to decide the Premier League player of 2014, with 31% voting for Luis Suarez and 10% choosing Steven Gerrard.
