Sterling at least managed to stay on his feet.

Liverpool's stars take dizzy penalties and fail miserably

Even professionals struggle without spacial awareness, it seems.

AT HIS BEST, people say Raheem Sterling can run rings around defenders. Not literally, however.

Sterling and his three Liverpool teammates Philippe Coutinho, Lazar Markovic and Jordan Ibe tried their hand at the new craze of taking dizzy penalties, and the results were as you’d expect.

Whether it was all just a viral marketing video, or a calculated training drill by Brendan Rodgers to deal with coping at the top of the table, we’re glad they did it, because it’s absolutely hilarious.

While Jordan Ibe managed to bury his, and in the process prove ha may potentially be able to literally run rings around players some day, the other three weren’t particularly inspiring.

In fact, Markovic and Coutinho were so terrible they actually had to lie down on the ground before even attempting to hit the ball, Coutinho pushing his wide, Markovic ballooning it over the bar — no change there — and Sterling dribbling one down the throat of the keeper.

Clearly, it’s time to get rid. He can’t even take a penalty while dizzy.
