Everton 4-0 Fulham

Stoke City 1-1 Arsenal

Sunderland 2-2 Bolton Wanderers

Swansea 4-4 Wolves

West Brom 0-0 Aston Villa

Wigan 4-0 Newcastle

Welcome to the the afternoon’s football. Apologies for a few gremlins in the system, but we’ve already had goals…

GOAL! Swansea 1-0 Wolves

A g0al after just a minute as Andrea Orlandi flicks in Scott Sinclair’s cross. More misery of Wolves.

GOAL! Swansea 2-0 Wolves

It just gets worse for Wolves. Within four minutes as Joe Allen slots in from 20 yards. It did take a massive deflection off Richard Stearman.

GOAL! Everton 1-0 Fulham

Nikica Jelavic keeps up his run… and not just of scoring. It;s another from a first touch. He strikes home from the penalty spot as the ball hits Pavel Pogrebniak’s arm in the Fulham box.

GOAL! Stoke City 1-0 Arsenal

And Arsenal’s relatively poor run continues as Peter Crouch heads in Matthew Etherington’s cross.

GOAL! Wigan 1-0 Newcastle United

A shock for Newcastle as Victor Moses nods in Maynor Figueroa’s cross.

GOAL! Stoke City 1-1 Arsenal

Arsenal immediately strike back as Robin van Persie heads in Benayoun’s cross.

GOAL! Swansea 3-0 Wolves

This may be a cricket score today! And Wolves only have themselves to blame as they leave Nathan Dyer unmarked to nod in from six yards.

GOAL! Wigan 2-0 Newcastle United

And this is a real turn-up for the box… Victor Moses gets his second, curling in superbly. Wigan are rampant at the moment.

GOAL! Everton 2-0 Fulham

And Marouane Fellaini continues his own run… again shocking marking on view at this stage of the season. The Belgian simply nods in, while Damien Duff also fails to clear the ball off the line.

GOAL! Sunderland 0-1 Bolton

Another lifeline for Bolton! Martin Petrov crosses for the ever-reliable Kevin Davies to volley in.

GOAL! Swansea 3-1 Wolves

Steven Fletcher strikes back for Wolves. In something of a trend today, he simply couldn’t miss.

GOAL! Swansea 4-1 Wolves

Not much a reprieve for Wolves as Danny Graham immediately makes it a three-goal lead again.

Well! What a hectic period! And would that could well have a huge effect on the table. As it stands, Wigan are all but securing their own safety while badly endangering Newcastle’s Champions League place while Bolton are climbing out of the relegation places, putting real pressure on Aston Villa. If it stays like this, there’ll be three points beetween Villa in 15th and QPR in 18th.

GOAL! Swansea 4-2 Wolves

Matt Jarvis pulls one back again for Wolves

GOAL! Sunderland 1-1 Bolton Wanderers

Sunderland score for the first time in seven hours but it couldn’t come at a worst time for Bolton as Nicklas Bendtner rampages through the Bolton defence to score.

GOAL! Wigan 3-0 Newcastle United

Oh my! Newcastle! Tottenham have a massive chance to go level again as Shaun Maloney drives in.

GOAL! Everton 3-0 Fulham

Jelavic strikes again! This time not with a first touch as Pienaar plays him through to turn in and finish.

GOAL! Swansea 4-0 Newcastle United

This is astonishing! Di Santo makes it FOUR nil to Wigan. A lovely finish. Sensational.

Have there ever been so many goals per game in one Premier League half?

We’re back under way and there’s already been drama as West Brom should have had a penalty against Villa and Robin van Persie went all too close for Arsenal.

GOAL! Sunderland 2-1 Bolton Wanderers

Looking like Trap might name his squad on Monday week so James McClean offers another reminder as he curls in a brilliant free-kick to really peg Bolton back in the relegation battle.

GOAL! Swansea 4-3 Wolves

Not over yet at the Liberty Stadium as Kightly pulls one back for Wolves! What a game.

GOAL! Everton 4-0 Fulham

Tim Cahill gets another for Everton, just helping the ball home.

Arsenal looking likelier to score at Stoke… despite the worst efforts of Gervinho who has been woeful today. “Again”, Arsenal fans might respond.

We’ve barely had time to mention it amid the flurry of goals but WIgan have been utterly sensational today. Again, it looks like they should be aiming for the Champions League rather than Newcastle.

GOAL! Sunderland 2-2 Bolton

Davies does it again! He meets Petrov’s cross to equalise! What a day.

GOAL! Swansea 4-4 Wolves

Well, well, well. Wolves show the right fight at the wrong time. Having been three goals behind twice in this game, Jarvis hits the equaliser.

Arsenal should have had a penalty as Van Persie was pushed in the box. meanwhile, Newcastle coming back into it at Wigan as Cisse – who has now squandered three different chances – hits the post.

Chamakh coming on for Arsenal. Wow. Wenger must be desperate for these points.

James McClean is apparently being talked about in thrilling terms on Spanish TV.

Goal-line clearance from Sagna as Walters goes close!

Is that the most important save Shay Given will make this season (until the Euros obviously!). The ball might well have been behind from a West Brom effort but the goalkeeper somehow keeps it out.

Given ultimately saved what may end up being a crucial point for Villa. It’s ended 1-1 there. Everton meanwhile have won 4-0 against Fulham.

Wigan have done it too. They’re surely safe now! Another massive scalp and this in the most magnificent fashion! Four-nil against Champions League-chasing Newcastle.

And that’s it everywhere. Not just a hugely gripping and goal-laden day on the pitch but one with significant effect on the Premier League table. Arsenal may have drawn again, this time away to Stoke, but it’s actually strengthened their position. With two games left, their fate is in their own hands for third. Newcastle, meanwhile, have given Spurs and Chelsea a lifeline for fourth with their incredible 4-0 defeat – a result that puts Wigan in a very strong position. They’re level on points with Villa and three ahead of both QPR and Bolton, even if the latter two both have a game in hand.

This one is going to go right to the wire.
