'It's not about being selfish today': Lions Uncovered trailer gives sneak peek inside tour to New Zealand

The new Lions film saw every player wear a microphone for every training session.

FOR ALL THE dismissals, deconstructions and supposed disinterest, the 2017 Lions tour to New Zealand transpired to be quite a memorable one.

The drawn series was hardly ideal, but the midweek fixtures were, for the most part, high-octane and highly entertaining, while all three Tests provided their own thrills and spills en route to a rather anticlimactic conclusion.

In keeping with usual fare, a film documenting the tourists’ trip will be released in and around the Autumn Tests, and its trailer provides a glimpse as to what to expect come its release on 13 November.

For the first time, too, each player was equipped with a microphone during training, meaning the film will offer an even greater insight than its already candid predecessors.
