Tommy Bowe goes all 'Uncle Rico' in meat-throwing Lions party

The Ulster winger paid tribute to Napolean Dynamite after learning of his selection to Warren Gatland’s squad.

WHILE PAUL O’CONNELL posed with a Lions jersey at Munster training, Jamie Heaslip tweeted about dreams coming true and 14 Welshmen lined up on a giant jersey, Tommy Bowe took his celebrations to a whole new level.

The Ulster and Ireland winger showed up at Belfast Zoo this afternoon to feed hearts to the lions that are currently residing in the wildlife enclosure:

Here at TheScore.ie, we were instantly reminded of the meat flinging expertise of our second favourite movie uncle, after Uncle Buck. Bowe’s antics are remarkably similar to those of Napolean Dynamite’s Uncle Rico, the faded quarterback who dreams of 1982.
