THE WALLABIES HAVE awarded 12 starting berths in their Lions Team of the Week to Welsh players following the final round of Six Nations games.
Posted on the Australia Rugby Facebook page, the team selection reflects the outstanding performance of Wales at the weekend.

Led by Gethin Jenkins, the team’s third captain in five championship games, Wales stunned England 30-3 to retain their Six Nations title.
Jim Hamilton of Scotland gets a second row nod while Ireland have two representatives – Brian O’Driscoll, who was sin-binned in the away loss to Italy, and Jamie Heaslip.
Welsh No. 8 Toby Faletau will not be happy to hear of his omission but he can console himself with his second successive Six Nations winner’s medal.
