Irish Lions supporters crack out amazing 'Waltzing O'Driscoll' flag Down Under

Lions fans will be hoping for yet another virtuoso display from the Irishman.

BRIAN O’DRISCOLL ARRIVED with a try-scoring bang on the 2001 Lions Tour to Australia. The 21-year-old ran in wonder tries on a weekly basis and earned the nickname, Down Under, of ‘Waltzing O’Driscoll’.

12 years on, and hours away from the First Test, supporters unveiled an excellent flag tribute to Ireland’s leading try-scorer:

UTV reporter Ruth Gorman also located a quartet of proud Ulster fans on Brisbane’s main thoroughfare. Unfortunately, Tommy Bowe’s injury has ruled him out of the First Test while Rory Best will be hoping to iron out his lineout kinks against the Melbourne Rebels next Tuesday.
