THE LADS AND ladies at Fox Sports Australia have compiled a list of what they believe to be the greatest individual tries of all time.
Serge Blanco of France and All Black juggernaut Jonah Lomu made the top five but there was no place for Brian O’Driscoll’s outstanding score against the Aussies on the 2001 Lions Tour. John Kirwan’s 1987 World Cup blitz against Italy was second.
The winner was Wallaby scrumhalf Will Genia and his solo stunner for his Super Rugby side Queensland Reds against the Crusaders in the 2011 Grand Final.

His 65-metre acceleration through the Kiwi defence for a match-winning score is, we must admit, pretty ruddy spectacular:
