Lions legends Gareth Edwards and BO'D talk beers, bonding and BaaBaa's

The Welsh scrumhalf caught up with the Irish centre in Hong Kong ahead of the tour opener.

BRIAN O’DRISCOLL WILL be cheering on his British & Irish Lions teammates at midday today as they open the 2013 Tour against the Barbarians in Hong Kong.

In between jet-lag recovery, team meetings and gruelling training sessions in 90% humidity, O’Driscoll caught up with legendary Lions scrumhalf Gareth Edwards to chat about tours past and present.

The centre also divulged secrets about ice vests that sound cool but may never take off in Ireland:

Edwards, who was part of the 1971 Lions side that defeated the All Blacks, told O’Driscoll about a warm-up loss in Queensland that spurred he and his teammates on to history-making success.
