Linfield supporter dies during Cork City Europa League match

The club confirmed the news late on Thursday night.

LINFIELD FC HAVE confirmed that one of their supporters died during Thursday night’s Europa League first qualifying round match with Cork City at Windsor Park.

A statement on the club’s official website read: “The sympathy and condolences of everyone at Linfield FC are extended to the family and friends of the Linfield supporter who sadly passed away during tonight’s Europa League game at Windsor Park.

“Further details will be provided when they are known.”
