ALL HELL BROKE loose in the Premier League match between Hull and Sunderland this evening after Jack Rodwell was booked for diving.

Incensed by the decision, Gus Poyet’s angry protests led to him being sent to the stand.

The Uruguayan boss then said something that clearly provoked Steve Bruce, with the linesman subsequently intervening and doing well to stop the much bigger Hull boss from confronting Poyet.

Hull had led 1-0 thanks to this Dame N’Doye goal.

However, Jack Rodwell equalised with an unusual goal to earn Sunderland a point.

The result leaves Sunderland four points above the bottom three in 16th place, a point below Hull.
