Carmody, O'Brien and Quaid in Limerick team to face Antrim

TJ Ryan has made three change to The Treaty County’s starting side for Sunday’s league clash.

LIMERICK BOSS TJ Ryan and fellow selectors Donal O Grady, Paul Beary and Mark Lyons have opted to make three changes to their starting team ahead of Sunday’s Allianz Hurling League clash with Antrim.

The Treaty County drew 0-17 to 0-17 with Cork in Division 1B last weekend, and will be looking for a better result against Kevin Ryan’s young team at the Limerick Gaelic Grounds.

Richie McCarthy, Shane Dowling and Graeme Mulcahy are out of the starting team for Limerick, with the latter suspended. Replacing that trio are Mark Carmody, Thomas O’Brien and Tommy Quaid.

Throw in for this fixture on Sunday is 2.00pm.

    The mind boggles why they don’t just extend the net the whole way along the foul line, average ball leaves the bat at 110 mph, that ball is heavier than a sliotar, this incident could change the safety nets at all stadiums now,

    @Limón Madrugada: I read somewhere that there is a ballpark clause, where the grounds can not be sued as you know the risks going. Something stupid like that

    @Eoin Byrne: where there is a lawyer there is a way , the mother could sue the father or whoever brought her there . The poor girl didn’t sign away her safety herself she’s underage .
