Limerick and Offaly hurlers ring the changes ahead of weekend games

Philip O’Loughlin, Dan Morrissey and Micheal Ryan all start their first league matches for the Shannonsiders.

LIMERICK HAVE HANDED first league starts to full back Philip O’Loughlin, wing back Dan Morrissey and corner forward Micheal Ryan for their Allianz Hurling League game with Laois this Sunday.

Also coming into the team are Nickie Quaid, Cathal King and James Ryan, while dropping to the bench are Aaron Murphy, Richie McCarthy, Donal O’Grady, William Hickey and Thomas O’Brien.

Meanwhile, the Offaly hurling team to play Antrim also sees several changes.

Conor Slevin, Dermot Mooney, Sean Gardner, Barry Harding, Colin Egan, Derek Morkan, Kevin Brady, Conor Doughan, Ciaran Slevin, Colm Coughlan, Sean Cleary and Stephen Quirke all come into the side.

Consequently, Shane Dooley, James Rigney and Mark Egan are the only players to be retained from last week.
