“It is very exciting, it’s a totally new concept to me,” said Hannon.
“It’s similar to polo, you’d see it on television.
“It’s for a great cause for Robbie McNamara, anything you can do to help and raise money for Robbie would be great.
“It’s fairly exciting and hopefully it takes off.”

Reidy said: ”It’s a totally new experience for me personally, I’ve never ridden a horse before.
“There’s a few skills in hurling that you could use in any walk of life, hopefully we’ll be able to use a few of them.”
