SEVEN GOALS, 123 points, over 180 minutes of relentless action and a couple of extra-time thrillers.
It was a hurling weekend to savour in Croke Park with Clare and Galway proving inseparable on Saturday night, while Limerick edged out Cork after another cracker yesterday afternoon.

Mid-August 2016 saw a weekend produce two enthralling semi-final ties as Kilkenny defeated Waterford in a Saturday night replay in Thurles and Tipperary saw off Galway in a Sunday showdown in Croke Park.
That was a high water mark for a 24-hour period of hurling but the last couple of days surpassed that with games of stunning entertainment.
Like all the rest of hurling fans, an array of inter-county GAA figures were engrossed with action served up.

So many great moments but from a Limerick viewpoint one of the best must be their team & Management in a circle on the pitch at the end, victorious, with The Cranberries being belted out over the speakers #CORvLIM
Hurling would want to take a good long look at itself... it’s not happy with the supporters it has but it’s trying to convert everyone else as well! What a weekend 👏🏻
Only winners today was the spectators 🤩🤩 and what a year it is for hurling. No team deserved to lose today. Fair result to go again next week. Here hoping for a similar ripper of a game tomorrow. #GALvCLA#styleofplay
Epic Game ... edge of the seat stuff and Kk not even playing 👏👏 .. fair play to both teams @GaaClare@Galway_GAA. Injuries could play a part in replay..
