In pictures: The 92nd Dublin City Liffey Swim

The historic annual event took place this afternoon.

OVER 300 MEN and women perserved freezing waters to take part in the 92nd Dublin City Liffey Swim earlier today.

Due to construction work on a new bridge the annual event was 1,500m shorter than usual so began at Watling Street Bridge (near the Guinness Brewery) and finished at Custom House Quay.
