DJ Carey made the cut. But who else should be there. Lorraine O'Sullivan/INPHO

Open Thread: Do you agree with the Liberty 15 for 15 team?

Are these the best 15 hurlers of the last 15 years?

OVER THE PAST few weeks, Today FM and Liberty Insurance have been trying to find the best 15 hurlers in the country over the past 15 years.

Today, the team was completed with the addition of Eddie Brennan at corner-forward, one of seven Kilkenny players to make the XV.

That Kilkenny have so many players should probably come as no surprise given the Cats’ dominance over the past decade but we want to know if you agree with the selection?

Should Joe Deane have made the cut for example? Or who would you exclude?

Let us know who deserves a spot and why they should be in there in the comment section below.

The team in full:

1. Brendan Cummins (Tipperary)

2. Jackie Tyrrell (Kilkenny)
3. Diarmuid O’Sullivan (Cork)
4. Ollie Canning (Galway)

5. Tommy Walsh (Kilkenny)
6. Ken McGrath (Waterford)
7. JJ Delaney (Kilkenny)

8. Derek Lyng (Kilkenny)
9. Colin Lynch (Clare)

10. Ben O’Connor (Cork)
11. Henry Shefflin (Kilkenny)
12. DJ Carey (Kilkenny)
