Racing will go ahead at Leopardstown today with a few changes

Heavy overnight frost has caused a change to today’s schedule.

HEAVY OVERNIGHT FROST at Leopardstown Racecourse has meant that today’s first race — The Martinstown Opportunity Handicap — will now take place after the last race.

Parts of the chase track are still unraceable and the situation will continue to be monitored.

The change means that the first race will now be the Copper Face Jacks Maiden Hurdle, and will take place at 12.55.

The eagerly awaited clash of Jezki and Hurricane Fly will go ahead as scheduled in the Ryanair Hurlde. The starting time in that one is 1.25.

Today’s other Grade One feature race, the Topaz Novice Steeplechase will also go ahead as scheduled at 3.05.

We will have further updates throughout the day…
