Douglas set for Leinster debut, Madigan partners D'Arcy

The province welcome Cardiff Blues to the RDS tomorrow evening.

LEINSTER COACH MATT O’Connor will hand Kane Douglas his first start in tomorrow night’s Guinness Pro12 meeting with Cardiff Blues (7.35pm).

Australian lock Douglas arrived in Ireland last week after joining from the New South Wales Waratahs and has since trained with his new team-mates, with O’Connor saying he is “fresh” and “really eager to get involved”.

Meanwhile, Gordon D’Arcy is partnered by Ian Madigan at centre and captain Jamie Heaslip is joined by Rhys Ruddock and Dominic Ryan in the back row.

The back three which started in the loss to Connacht all retain their places meaning it is Darragh Fanning and Fergus McFadden on the wings and Rob Kearney at full-back.
