LEINSTER HAVE REVEALED their new European jersey for the 2014/15 season and it has been greeted with mixed reaction by the province’s supporters so far.

The kit is manufactured by New Zealand firm Canterbury and features gold and navy stripes over the traditional Leinster blue on the front of the shirt. The socks also feature two gold bands.

The Kearney brothers and Luke Fitzgerald featured in the first official photograph of the new jersey, which was released on Twitter this morning, before shots of Sean O’Brien, Gordon D’Arcy and Jimmy Gopperth modelling the gear were released.

The new European shirt will be worn for the first time by Leinster in their pre-season friendly against Ulster at Tallaght Stadium on August 30.
