As the squad trudged through Glasgow Airport, Leigh Griffiths paused at a desk to get his relevant documents in order, but was greeted by a couple of heckling Rangers fans – one of whom can be heard blurting ‘paedo’ in the Scotland striker’s direction.
Griffiths, who was suspended for the first leg with Rosenborg due to his provoking of Linfield fans after being targeted with missiles and a Buckfast bottle at Windsor Park, and was injured regardless, responds: “Your club’s dead, mate. Beat it,” in reference to Rangers’ 2012 liquidation.
