POLISH CLUB LEGIA Warsaw were handed a €30,000 fine and ordered to close their north stand of their Stadion Wojska Polskiego by UEFA for chanting racist abuse during their Champions League qualifier against TNS of Wales earlier this month.

As a response, the club’s ultras, who usually fill the stand in question, let off hundreds of flares as their team faced Steaua Bucharest in Europe last night.

That’s one way to get your message across.
